Justice retired R C Gandhi probing August, 9 Kishtwar communal clashes examined over 30 witnesses who had submitted their affidavits to the commission  of Inquiry (CoI) with regard to the clashes on Tuesday. Justice along with his secretary Qazi Sarwar and other supportive staff cross examine the witnesses in a full court established inside the office of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar.

Sources told Kashmir Life that Justice Gandhi during his cross examination of witnesses questioned the witnesses. He also sought detailed information from the witnesses about the violence. He will continue the similar exercise for two more days before he will return back to Jammu for preparation of final draft for submission of the report to the government by November 5, the sources added.

Earlier the commission had summoned the witnesses at TRC Kishtwar, but due to non availability of court room inside TRC Kishtwar the venue was shifted to ACR Kishtwar office.
