With weatherman forecasting another spell of snow in higher reaches of Kashmir Valley, the temperature is expected to fall about four to five degree Celsius in next 48 hours, an official from Meteorological (MeT) department said on Tuesday.

“We are expecting light rain in plains and light snowfall in higher reaches of Valley during next two days,” Sonam Lotus, Director, Meteorological Department told a local news agency, GNS.

He said that about four to five notches will fall from the minimum temperature in Valley which is 3.3 degree at present in Srinagar area. “The sky is expected to remain cloudy in the next 48 hours,” Lotus added.
