Chairman Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) and Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir Tuesday while commenting on the recent statement of Omar Abdullah wherein the alter had mentioned that Kashmir issue could be resolved though Irish formula,  said that rather making the political statements, Kashmir’s leadership should prioritize the efforts of making the state economically stable.

Mir while talking to KNS, said that the political parties across state should strive to make Jammu and Kashmir a self-reliant state. “We have to turn towards New Delhi for everything, efforts should be made so that the state could be economically independent.”

Mir further stated that the economic condition of the state is ‘worst’ and that its leadership has to make necessary steps so that its economic growth could be made prosperous. “We don’t need the political statements and should not talk of political solutions when the state is economically week.”

Pertinently Omar Abdullah recently in an interview with Britain’s newspaper had suggested that Irish based solution could be implemented to Kashmir for the resolution of the long pending issue.
