The tentative losses to property reported by district administration of Kishtwar have been assessed at Rs 13.86 crore approximately.
This was informed by the government in recently concluded autumn session of assembly.
To ascertain the complete losses, the house was informed that process is being completed by district administration Kishtwar in accordance with the parameters laid down in Govt order no 1264 GAD of 2013 dated September 4, 2013.
According to data provided by the government, besides loss in Kishtwar, fourteen shops have also suffered loss in Jammu.
Regarding ex gratia relief, the government stated that Rs 5 lac each has been paid to the Next of Kin of the persons who have lost their lives in violence and aftermath.
