Grandfather of Kashmir Life’s Desk editor Umar Khurshid, Ali Mohammad Mir left for a heavenly abode this morning at his home in Salia Nagabal village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district after a brief illness. He was 80 years old.
Mir is survived by his two sons and a daughter, all settled. He was unwell for a very long time and breathed his last at his residence around 3:30 am.
