Power Shutdowns To Affect Several Areas In South, Central Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Several areas across Kashmir will face scheduled power shutdowns over the coming days due to maintenance work on transmission lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said on Tuesday.

According to KPDCL, power supply to Dangam, Wangam, DK Pora, Landoora, Watchi, Babpora, Momen, Hermain, Hajipora, Chakoora, Frisal, Mantribugh and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 2 pm on September 10, 13 and 16 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Lassipora-Landoor line.

Similarly, power supply to Inderhama, Burzhama, Danihama, Rahbagh, Gasoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 8 am to 2 pm on September 10 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Habak-Zakura line.

The corporation also said that the shutdown of the 33 kV Wanganpora-Takanwari line will affect power supply to Sangam, Shanglipora, EV Charging Zoonimar and adjoining areas from 8 am to 2 pm on September 9 and 12.

KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled shutdowns.
