KPDCL Announces Power Shutdown in Kashmir Parts

   

SRINAGAR: Several areas across Kashmir will face scheduled power disruptions between September 19 and 22 due to maintenance-related shutdowns on transmission and distribution lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said on Thursday.

According to the KPDCL, power supply to Sogam, Ropore, Chadoora, Wathoora, Bugam, Dawlatpora, Gudsuthoo, Panzan, Lalgam, Ranger, Kathairgund, Kakawring, Yousmarg, Charar-i-Sharief, Rakhaye, Tilsera, Badipora, Nagam, Hayatpora, Hafroo, Buzgoo, Gogjipathri, Laden, Loolipora, Nagbal, Brinjin, Watkaloo and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 3 pm on September 21 due to the shutdown of the 132 KV Budgam-Chadoora double-circuit transmission line.

Power supply to Nowpora, Seelo, Achabal, Behrampora, Bomai, Bugoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 8 am to 2 pm on September 19 due to the shutdown of the 33 KV Amargarh-Nowpora line.

The 33 KV Amargarh-Nowpora-Achabal Tapline will also remain shut from 8 am to 2 pm on September 21, affecting power supply to Achabal and adjoining areas.

Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Amargarh-Bandipora line on September 22 from 8 am to 2 pm will affect Watlab, Warpora, Hathlangoo, Dangerpora, Qunsoo, Dooru, Mundji, Shiva, Tujjar, Shrine, Arampora, Adipora and adjoining areas.

Power supply to Narbal, Kawoosa, Lawaypora, Sozeith, Sanoor, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 8 am to 3 pm on September 19 and 21 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Sanoor Tapline.
