SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Kashmir on July 9 and 11 to facilitate maintenance works.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam SIDCO Tapline will affect power supply to Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas from 8 am to 2 pm on July 9, 2026.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam-Watrihail line and 33 kV Pampore-Lethpora line will be observed on July 11, 2026, affecting electricity supply to Samsan, Parthan, Watrihail, Waterwani, PHE Substation, Charangam, Sambora, Patalbagh, Lethpora, CRPF-Lethpora, Ladhoo, Konibal, Chandhara, CTC, LIS and adjoining areas.
The power supply in these areas will remain affected from 8 am to 2 pm, officials said.
