SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir has clarified that the eligibility criteria for promotion and examination appearances in the B.Sc. Paramedical Courses are strictly governed by the Statutes issued through Notification No. F (Statutes-Para-Med)Acad/KU/22 on 21 June 2022.
In response to requests from students seeking a relaxation of these rules for the second-year examinations, the University has also received a communication from the Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, dated 30 August 2025, endorsing the students’ appeal.
The University stated that the matter is currently under active consideration by the relevant authorities. In the interim, the University announced the postponement of the examinations scheduled for Tuesday, 2 September 2025, with fresh dates to be notified in due course.
The University reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the academic welfare of students while maintaining adherence to established statutes and procedures.
