Divisional Commissioner Garg emphasised the need for efficient coordination to cater to the large numbers of devotees expected at prominent religious sites, including Hazratbal Shrine, Jenab Sahib Soura, Aasar-i-Sharief Kalashpora, and others. A special focus was placed on Hazratbal, where over one lakh devotees are expected for the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W) observance.

Garg instructed Chief Engineer KPDCL to ensure an uninterrupted power supply at Hazratbal Shrine, with backup arrangements for generators, and ordered the postponement of any scheduled power shutdown during the religious event. He also directed the PHE department to install sufficient drinking water posts and arrange standby water tankers near the shrine.

To ensure smooth transportation, the Div Com instructed SSCL, RTC, and ARTO to deploy adequate buses and e-autos for transporting devotees to and from Hazratbal Shrine. He also urged Traffic Police Srinagar to prepare route plans for smooth traffic flow, especially for visitors from other districts.

The SSP Rural was tasked with deploying traffic personnel along key routes leading to the shrines, while the Wakf Board was directed to arrange tents in advance at all major sites. Commissioner SMC was assigned the responsibility of conducting a comprehensive cleanliness and sanitation drive at Hazratbal Shrine.

Further, the Div Com stressed the need for joint market checking teams to ensure food safety and prevent overcharging near religious sites. He also instructed the Health department to set up medical camps and ensure the availability of medical staff, while Fire and Emergency services were asked to station fire tenders at critical locations for swift responses.
