Scores of female hostliers of Kashmir University staged a protest late Wednesday night in the varsity campus against the killing of four civilians in Khudwani area of Kulgam district.
Reports said that students assembled outside the hostel and started a protest against the killings.
Students raised pro-Pakistani and pro-Islamic slogans and later marched in entire campus and later dispersed off peacefully, reports claimed.
The students also denounced the killing of a civilian in post-encounter clashes.
Pertinently, four civilians were killed and at least sixty injured during clashes with government forces on Wednesday in Kulgam district.
