One dies while three other were injured in different accidents across the valley, police said on Friday.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05D/4865 hit and injured a pedestrian Mehra Begum wife of Abdul Ahad Gooru resident of Naninari Sumbal at Naninari, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.
In another accident a Truck 407 bearing registration number JK01/5190 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04A/3273 at Manasbal, Ganderbal in Safapora resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Aqib Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Ahmad and pillon Gowher Ahmad Reshi son of Sonaullah resident of Gratbal, Ganderbal. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration JK09/4170 driven by Tariq Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Ahmad Lone resident of Diver, Kupwara on his way from Kupwara to Sogam hit a pedestrian Habibullah Hajam son of Abdul Karim resident of Surigam at Putshie in Sogam. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sogam for treatment.
