As per a police spokesperson, the body of a 60 year’s old Padma Angdo son of Lobzang Stanzin resident of Housing Colony, Leh was recovered from river Sindh near ST. Pewter School, Leh.
The body was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Leh police has started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death, said the spokes person.
