Heavy rainfall and landslides caused damaged to five residential houses in Kupwara last evening.
Five residential houses were damaged after the heavy rain fall the landslides hit the Rengpeth village, falling in Kralgund. Police said that all the effected families were later shifted to the safer places.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a road accident in Sopore area last evening.
A van bearing registration number JK09/5608 hit a cycle at Nathipora, in Bomie Sopore, resulting in injuries to the cyclist Firdous Ahmad Reshi son of Ghulam Hassan Reshi, pillion Aman Ahmad Reshi son of Mohammad Ramazan Reshi residents of Tujjar Sharief and the Van driver.
All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment.
