Leopard Enters CRPF Camp in South Kashmir, Jawan Injured

   

SRINAGAR: Panic gripped in a CRPF camp in Kapran area Anantnag in South Kashmir on Wednesday morning after a leopard entered the premises and attacked personnel during breakfast hours, leaving one jawan injured.

Official said that the incident occurred in the morning hours at the Kapran camp, when jawans were assembled in the mess for breakfast. Suddenly, a leopard strayed into the camp and attacked the personnel.

During the incident, one jawan identified as HC Kamlesh Kumar sustained injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC), where he was provided prompt medical treatment.

They said the condition of the injured jawan is stable. (KNC)
