SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has sanctioned an ex-gratia amount of Rs 5 lakh for the kin of the Udhampur man who was tragically killed by militants in the Janglat Mandi area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
Additionally, Rs 5 lakh each has been approved for the families of the victims involved in a bus accident in Jammu.
The statement further mentions that a sum of Rs 50,000 each has been announced for those who suffered severe injuries.
The LG has instructed the district administration to ensure the well-being of the affected families and provide necessary aid during their treatment. (KNO)
