SRINAGAR: A man was stabbed to death by unknown individuals in the Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency KS that an unknown person stabbed Aijaz Ah Bhat, son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, a resident of Mominabad Batamaloo, near Dar Iron Traders at Bypass Batamaloo.
The injured person was immediately taken to JVC Hospital in Bemina, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.-(KS)
