SRINAGAR: Five people, including two minor girls Friday were injured as India and Pakistan continued to trade gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bagtore sector of Gurez in north kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official told the news agency KNO, that the exchange of fire between India and Pakistan troops started around 12am today along the LoC in Bagtore sector and continued since then.

He said that five people were injured during shelling today afternoon in Bagtore sector of Gurez in Bandipora. All the four people, as per official were removed to the primary health centre Bagtore for treatment, he said

The official identified the injured persons as Rehana khursheed(14), Daughter of khursheed Ahamd Ganie, Munaza Jamsheed(12), Daughter of jamsheed Ahamad, Jabar Ahamad Ganie(72), Son of Laasi Ganie, Sada Bagem(62) and Abdul Aziz all the resident of Bagtore Gurez.

The official said the condition of all the five was stable while massive cross LoC shelling in going on when this report was filed.
