SRINAGAR: An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck the Tyrrhenian Sea off the west coast of Italy on Tuesday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
Data from the agency placed the quake at a depth of roughly 373 kilometers below the surface, measuring the epicenter about 16 kilometers south-southeast of the community.
The tremor struck about 40.4 kilometers northeast of Naples, which has a population of 909,048.
