President Jammu and Kashmir Mahaze Azadi, Syed Altaf Andrabi has paid high tributes to the founder of Mahaze Azadi Late Sofi Mohammed Akbar Sahib who kept the freedom struggle alive in agedness in spite of physical, financial and political hardships, a statement issued by MeA here reads.
“Altaf Andrabi said that in an extra ordinary meeting of Mahaze Azadi presided by chief patron Mohammed Azam Inqulabi which was attended by senior party leaders including Mir Shafi Shupiany, Mohammed Yusuf Kaloo, jahangir Saleem , Shafeeq Soporee and others , it was decided that the congregational prayers on the 29th death annvesary of Marhoom Magfoor Sofi Akbar Sahib will be held on 14th December 2016 at 3pm in Sopore as the joint resistance leadership has facilitated the afternoon deal on Wednesday 14th Dec,” the statement added.
