Denouncing the government “highhandedness”, Maisuma in the heart of Srinagar is observing a complete shutdown on Saturday.
Early today, people took to streets and protests against mid-night raids.
They said that the police raided the locality late last night and harassed locals.
Minor clashes between protestors and police took place in the area as well.
Meanwhile JKLF chief Mohammad Yasin Malik has been released from central jail.
