JKLF Chief Yasin Malik along with social activist Swami Agnivesh was arrested on his way to Narbal Saturday afternoon.

Malik attempted to visit the family of slain youth Suhail Ahmad Sofi but was arrested by police, reports said.

Ahead of his arrest, Swami Agnivesh had joined Malik in his hunger strike against the union government’s plan of a separate township, for the displaced Kashmiri Pandits.

The JKLF had announced a thirty hour hunger strike against the “separate composite township” move of state government for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
