One person died while another was injured in two separate road accidents in Budgam and Sopore Friday.
In Budgam, a vehicle bearing registration number PB-08 AY0050 hit and injured a person identified as Reyaz Ahmad Lone resident of Kachwadi Budgam on National Highway near Railway Crossing Nowgam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Sopore, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05-5202 and a Figo car bearing registration number JK15-3801 collided near Botingoo Crossing, resulting in injuries to Figo car driver, Showkat Ahmad Dar. The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
