SRINAGAR: A 60-year-old man died after an e-auto skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Qilla Mohalla area of Bhaderwah on Monday.
Quoting officials, the news agency KNO reported that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the e-auto, causing it to skid off the road and fall into the gorge.
The driver sustained injuries in the accident and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The deceased was identified as Davinder Kumar, 60, son of Hans Raj, a resident of Mathola in Bhaderwah.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
