An elderly man died on spot while another suffered serious injuries after the slab they were dismantling crushed suddenly.
The incident occurred in Devbagh area of Chadoora tehsil in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police official told CNS that Abdul Salam (60) son of Ghulam Muhammad died while another person Nazir Ahmed Ganaie son of Ghulam Muhammad was injured after the slab of the house they were dismantling crushed unexpectedly.
The injured was taken to Sub-District Hospital Chadoora where doctors referred him to SKIMS Srinagar.
