SRINAGAR

Two persons fell from Walnut trees at different places in Islamabad. One of them died while the condition of other one is reported to be stable. A police statement said on Wednesday.

Mohammad Ashraf Check son of Abdul Gani resident of Manzgam Aherbal fell from a Walnut tree at Behram Sahib Khanabal, Islamabad and died on spot. After completing all legal formalities the body was handed over his relatives for last rites.

Meanwhile, in another similar incident 42 years old  Abdul Ahad Bhat adopted son of Abdul Aziz Wani resident of Khanpora, Uttersoo fell from a walnut tree at Khanpora, Islamabad, and was injured. He was shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad for treatment and his condition is reported to be stable.

Meanwhile two persons died while ten other were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

A Santro Car bearing registration number JK01M/6500 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Gani resident of Khwajabagh, Maloora hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01K/9884 at Maloora, Srinagar, resulting in on spot death of Motorcyclist Ghulam Qadir Malik son of Farooq Ahmed resident of Malikpora, Hajin.

An unidentified lady was hit and injured by an unidentified vehicle near Hatrick Bypass, Hyderpora, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to JVC Bemina, Srinagar for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. The body has been kept in mortuary room Panthachowk for identification.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03C/6292 hit and injured 5 years old girl Bazila Fayaz daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Rather resident of Shangus at Shangus, Islamabad. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A/3256 driven by Bashir Ahmad Kadoo son of Ghulam Mohidin resident of Ashjipora hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Ganie resident of Dialgam at Dialgam, Islamabad. A pillion rider Masrat Jan daughter of Bashir Ahmad Kadoo was also injured.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK02AR/7540 collided with a School Bus bearing registration number JK01K/7307 at Baroosa, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to five students Itizqa Majid,Zahid Zahoor Noorian Tariq, Zahida and Kamran Rashid residents of Safapora.  All the injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Ganderbal for treatment.

A Tata Magic without registration number hit and injured two pedestrian Nayeema Akhter daughter of Habibullah resident of Waskoora and Ghulam Rasool Gani son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Braripora near Kulangam bridge, Handwara. The injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Handwara for treatment.

Meanwhile, body of a lady namely Fatima wife of Abdul Majeed Wani resident of Ishber Nishat was fished out by police from Dal Lake near Ishber Ghat, Srinagar. Nishat police has initiated inquest proceedings in this regard.
