A man on Sunday late evening sustained injuries after he was attacked by a group of unknown men in Nowpora Payeen in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that unknown persons today late evening attacked a man identified as Shabir Ahmad Ganai, 30, son of Habibul Ullah Ganai, a resident of Nowpora Payeen in Pulwama. According to the initial reports he was stabbed in the stomach, resulting in injuries to the person.
The injured man was soon rushed to District Hospital Pulwama, where he is said to be stable now. Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and further investigations have been taken up.
