Incarcerated Muslim League chairperson, Masarat Alam Bhat was Wednesday sent to Baramulla jail on fifteen days remand.

On Tuesday Masarat was shifted to Hajin police station.

“Masarat Sb was produced before a Court in Hajin which sent him on fifteen days fresh remand,” a Muslim League spokesperson was quoted by a local newspaper.

He added that soon after the Court order, Masarat was again shifted to district jail Baramulla.

Masarat is undergoing detention since 2010 after he spearheaded people’s uprising by issuing protest calendars.
