After court on Monday granted bail to Muslim League Chairman Masarat Alam Bhat in a case of 2016, he has been booked again in a new case
On Monday court granted bail to Alam in an FIR no 258 of 2016 that was registered against Alam at Police Station Baramulla under various sections of RPC. He was released and re-arrestedfrom Baramulla police station, sources said. Since 1990 Bhat has been booked 34 times under PSA.

A fresh FIR No 52/2017, U/S 120 B and 13 ULA, has been invoked against Masarat Alam,” reports said.
For “running” the 2010 mass agitation On October 30, 2012, Alam was booked under PSA. On March 1, 2015 he was releases but following a political storm after some New Delhi based channels media hyped his release, terming him as “threat to peace.”
