The chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua Saturday sent the Muslim League chairman and Hurriyat Conference (G) leader Masrat Alam Bhat on eight days Judicial remand.  

According to KNS correspondent, Masrat was produced before the court of chief judicial magistrate in connection with the FIR no 83/2013 that sent him to eight days of judicial remand.   Masrat was shifted to district jail kutua.

Muslim League while condemning the continuous detention of its chairman said that the suppressive measures are being inflicted on Masrat so that his will and resolve for the ongoing resistance movement could be broken.

The spokesman Muslim League Mohammad Rafiq Ganie stated that the continous imprisonment of Masrat has made him more strong to represent the masses of Kashmir and that the false cases under which he is being jailed will not last for long.
