The organizers of Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir have been finally allowed to take material for the event inside the Municipal Park, which was earlier “stopped” by police.
Earlier in the day, apprehensions grew that authorities might not allow Haqeeqat event to proceed, as security personnel stopped the material meant for the event, organizers say.
“We talked to higher ups and they later allowed material to pass into park,” one of the organizers told Kashmir Life.
Pertinently, Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir event is a parallel event organized by civil society in protest against Zubin Mehta’s Ehsaas-e-Kashmir.
