Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh Saturday said that the Government will take appropriate corrective measures to “instil confidence among youth”, who are studying outside the State.

While replying to an issue raised by, Omar Abdullah in the Legislative Assembly, the Deputy Chief Minister said the Government would take measures to address the issues of harassment of J&K youth studying and working outside the State.

He said that the Government is contemplating to send a Group of Ministers (GoM) to all the States, where students from J&K are studying, to take up the issue of harassment with the concerned States.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the delegation of youth, who study or work outside, would also be included in the said meets to discuss the issue threadbare, to ensure safety of them. He said that the move will “instil confidence among the youth”, saying that the Government will do everything possible for the safety and security of the youth of the State.
