Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has appealed student fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir, to protest against the rustication and expulsion of 67 Kashmiri students from Meerut. Geelani termed it as an act of “Indian State Terrorism”.

“India is a big country with small heart,” Geelani said adding “registering case of sedition against Kashmiri students is an act of state terrorism. I appeal the Students of J&K to protest peacefully against it on Friday.”

“By applauding Pakistani cricket team Kashmiri students have just expressed their inner, so if it is a sin then the same case must be registered against every Kashmiri because they do not accept the illegal occupation of India over J&K,” Geelani said.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front has also decided to protest against the expulsion of 67 Kashmiri students from Meerut. “JKLF chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik will lead a protest march in Lal Chowk, after Friday prayers,” a JKLF spokesperson told Kashmir Life.

Pertinently, 67 Kashmiri students had to face rustication and then expulsion from SVS University, Meerut last Monday for supporting and cheering Pakistan’s win over India in ongoing cricket Asia Cup.
