Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed grief and shock over the demise of a young man, Zahoor Ahmad of Lachi Mawar in Langate of Kupwara district, who died in a grenade blast on Friday, Nov 14.
Terming the incident most unfortunate, the party president, Mehbooba Mufti said due to such ugly incidents sense of insecurity is being created by the vested interests on the ground. “It is a brutal and highly condemnable act.” She also demanded thorough and time bound probe into the incident. Expressing sympathies with the bereaved family, she prayed for the everlasting peace of the deceased soul.
