SRINAGAR: An 8-year-old boy was critically injured after being hit by a load carrier in the Balsoo area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday morning.
An official said that the boy, identified as Arhan Umar, a resident of Balsoo, was struck by the vehicle while crossing the road. The driver immediately took the injured child to District Hospital Kulgam for initial treatment, where doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for advanced medical care.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. More details are awaited. (JKNS)
