SRINAGAR: Train services between Qazigund and Hiller in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district were suspended on Thursday after a truck accidentally veered onto the railway track.
Officials said the incident prompted the immediate suspension of train movement as a safety measure.
“Train movement between Qazigund and Hiller was halted as a precaution. Technical teams were rushed to the spot to assess and clear the track,” an official said.
There were no reports of injuries or damage to railway property. Train service was restored after the track was declared safe for operations. (JKNS)
