The former minister and DPN chief Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday termed the hype over Huriyat- GOI dialogue a ‘futile’ exercise saying ‘such political gimmicks would not resolving the pending issues’

Mir told KNS said that the unnecessary hype given to the dialogue is called for and a political gimmick. “One side is pitching for bilateral talks and on the other hand you have Huriyat which calls for trilateral talks. How could the resolution be a reality at present when you have two opposite voices? This is nothing but playing to galleries and a time consuming exercise,” Mir said adding that it would not be a result oriented process.

He added that thought some aspects of the budget were appreciable but in total it was a contrast between the content and the claims.
