Hurriyat (m) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was Sunday morning released from his House detention. He was put under house arrest Friday evening in view of the protest march against desecration of Jamia Masjid.
Post Friday prayers, police was accused of lodging tear gas shells inside the historic Jamia Masjid which was denied by JK Police DGP, K Rajendra.
Sources said according to the schedule, valley’s chief cleric will be delivering a sermon at Dastageer Sahab, Khanyar at 4 PM.
