Officials confirmed that no restrictions would be placed on Mirwaiz, paving the way for his return to the pulpit of the Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta.
“After four consecutive Fridays of restrictions, the authorities have conveyed that @MirwaizKashmir will be allowed to go to Jamia Masjid to offer Friday prayers,” the office of the Mirwaiz wrote in a post on social media. (KB)
