Hurriyat Conference (m) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday visited octogenarian Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura and enquired about his health.
A Hurriyat spokesperson said that Mirwaiz spent some time with the Hurriyat patriarch and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Pertinently, Geelani was shifted to SKIMS during midnight in police custody after he complained of severe chest pain and congestion.
Geelani has been admitted to the ICU and is under observation.
