SRINAGAR: The body of a 31-year-old man, who had gone missing six days ago, was recovered from Nalla Madhumati in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.
Quoting an official, the news agency KNO reported that the body of the missing man was retrieved following intensive search operations carried out by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), police and local volunteers.
The deceased was identified as Showkat Ahmad Gujjar, 31, son of Mohammad Gulab Gujjar, a resident of Yali Bonakoot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while the body will be handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.
