MoS Home Sajad Ahmed Kitchloo Monday visited two police stations in Srinagar for on ground interaction with the police personnel.Kitchloo visited police station Safa Kadal and M R Gunj and interacted with the police personnel and officers.
MoS Home was given a Guard of Honor on his arrival. The minister was accompanied by SSP Srinagar. Ashiq Hussain Bukhari.
Kitchloo appreciated the role of police personnel and officers in maintaining law and order and keeping a check on the crimes, besides being the front runners in rescue and rehabilitation of people in case of any natural calamity.
The minister had earlier held a security review meeting with senior officers of the police at police control room, Srinagar. He stressed upon the senior police officers to develop better police-public relations at the grass root level so that the problems and grievances of general public can be mitigated.
