We should come on common terms and join hands,” Mahbooba said. PDP leaders in districts led similar rallies. In all a number of PDP activists came out on streets across J&K seeking a resolution of Kashmir issues, besides revocation of AFSPA and restoration of rights to Kashmir on its water resources.
Last week, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had announced that his party will hold “people’s protest” at every district headquarters on April 26 to impress upon India and Pakistan to resume the dialogue process to resolve the long pending Kashmir issue. Replying to a query, he said that he had no problems being labelled a separatist.
