According to reports, Beigh strongly disapproved the working style of the PDP ministers, saying that it had been hitting the party at the grass-roots level.

“Our ministers are making loud claims but they have failed to work as a unit which is affecting the party at the grass-roots level. The public perception about our ministers is not up to the mark and you people (ministers) will have to work unitedly so as to connect with masses and deliver effectively,” the sources quoting Beig as saying while addressing party workers and leaders at Chief Minister’s official residence in Jammu.

You (ministers) will have to settle your personal score, if any, at your own level without affecting the delivery system. This kind of behaviour has been affecting the party at grassroots and creating a bad image,” he said, adding, “come out of your constituencies and visit others as well as it will help us in broadening our base in all three regions.”
