SRINAGAR: Navaid Runyal, a motorcycling enthusiast from Pogal Paristan in Ramban district, has entered Nepal on a solo motorcycle expedition, reportedly becoming the first biker from the district to undertake such a ride to the neighbouring country.

Runyal, popularly known as the “Roaming Engineer”, began his journey from Pogal Paristan and travelled through Ramsoo, Ramban, Jammu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand before reaching the Banbasa border and crossing into Nepal.
The ride marks a significant milestone in his ongoing international motorcycle expedition, during which he has been travelling alone across several states and covering long distances on his motorcycle.
According to those associated with the expedition, Runyal undertook the journey with the aim of promoting his home region, Pogal Paristan, and Ramban beyond Jammu and Kashmir.
His arrival in Nepal has drawn appreciation from fellow riders, friends and residents of Ramban, who described the achievement as a moment of pride for the district.
The expedition is also being seen as an inspiration for young people from the remote areas of Ramban to pursue adventure, travel and other ambitious goals.
While Runyal’s international journey continues, his entry into Nepal marks a major milestone in his solo ride from Jammu and Kashmir across the national borders.
