On the instruction of Chief Minister and working president of National Conference, Omar Abdullah a delegation of the party on Wednesday visited Srinagar airport to receive the coffin of Late Abdul Aziz Zargar former minister with the distinction of having been a member of the Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir in 1951.
The Delegation which was headed by Provincial President of the party Nasir Aslam Wani included NC Spokesman Tanvir Sadiq, former Minister Ab. Rashid, Shabir Kullay and former Deputy Commissioner Showkat Mir.
According to sources, earlier on the instructions of Omar, a special air ambulance was arranged from Delhi to carry the body of Abdul Aziz Zargar to Kashmir. The delegation met with the family of the deceased and on behalf of the Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah conveyed their heartfelt sympathizes.
