SRINAGAR: The National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented across JK, with colleges offering job-oriented courses, the government said on Saturday.
Replying to a question from Javid Riyaz, Minister for Higher Education said, “The Department has implemented the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 in all government degree colleges across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. These colleges offer job-oriented and skill-based courses to enhance students’ employability and practical learning.
“Business Management programmes are offered in a number of colleges in the UT. A separate programme in Artificial Intelligence has not yet been introduced, as it is a new and developing area of study. However, Artificial Intelligence is taught as part of the curriculum in Computer Applications.” (JKNS)
