SURRENDERED: After the income tax department searched all the branches of Sun Pharmaceuticals, the company surrendered 120  cr of  undisclosed income. Sun Pharmaceuticals is accused of taking undue advantage of the incentives provided by the Union Government.

COMMITTED: Kuldeep Singh, son of Inder Singh from Rajouri, a Village Defence Officer (VDC) committed suicide near his house, with his .303 rifle. Preliminary investigations show stress compelled him to end his own life.

SOLVED: Investigators say the murder case of Surinder Kumar  from Katra has been solved. Police arrested Sanjay Kumar, the deceased’s employee, and Subash, the deceased’s brother-in-law. Investigators say Kumar was murdered because of the illicit relation betweenhim and Sanjay’s sister-in-law.

CIRCULATED: A porn MMS of an 11th class girl and a boy, both from Budgam was circulated to the mobile users in the district. Police have arrested the boy in the video and have questioned the girl as well.They has registered the case of rape under Section 376 of RPC.

Suhail  Raoof, a US based doctor,is  the first Muslim to get appointed as the President of American College of Chest Physicians. Dr Raoof is the son-in-law of Dr G Q Allaqband, and the son of Dr A Raoof and Dr QamarRaoof.
