SRINAGAR: Northern Command General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Saturday visited south Kashmir to review the counter-terrorism grid and assess the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the region.

During the visit, Sharma emphasised adaptability, precision and sustained vigilance, besides greater synergy among security forces, as key factors for intelligence-driven operations and a rapid response to emerging challenges.
Interacting with troops, the Army commander commended their dedication and commitment to countering terrorism and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
