SRINAGAR: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma visited hinterland units in South Kashmir to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the region.
During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma took stock of the preparedness of the units and emphasised the need for sustained alertness to effectively respond to emerging challenges.
He also stressed greater synergy and coordination with all stakeholders to maintain a high level of preparedness in the area.

Lt Gen Sharma commended the troops for their professionalism, commitment and dedication towards ensuring security, the Northern Command said in a post on X.
